Community Update: Male Arrested on Suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply Drugs

Dear Residents,

On Monday 15 June, local officers conducting reassurance patrols in the Mottingham area observed a scooter travelling along Grove Park Road which was suspected of being uninsured.

The vehicle was stopped and the rider was detained at the scene.

Officers carried out a search of the individual and the scooter under relevant police powers. During the search, 16 snap bags containing suspected herbal cannabis were located and seized.

As a result, the male was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply and remains subject to the ongoing investigation.
